Your New Life Will Cost You Your Old One. Are you willing to lose it all for what you want?

I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong. I had that dread in the pit of my stomach feeling, and yet the sun shone in through the window, glistening like jewels, bouncing off the ocean into my perfect sea-view bedroom. I lay watching a vista I had spent years dreaming of. Everything was peachy inside my beachside duplex penthouse. Nothing out of the ordinary on my phone, the sound of birds singing alongside my shouty Spanish neighbours; nothing new.

Another day of slow living, happy clients, and playful ease.

I got ready to go for my daily walk and to meet a friend for coffee. I finished journaling, slipped into a bikini and denim shorts, and shrugged it away.

The Egypt trip was a “retreat and sacred journey beyond expectation and into the unknown” led by a good friend of mine. As soon as she’d shared about it, my soul had responded “I am fully in!”- and everything had aligned so perfectly, and with ease.

But, you cannot go on a sacred pilgrimage like the one I was about to embark on without everything changing. When you say yes to a call, you say yes to everything that comes with it.

The rest of the day passed. I still couldn’t shift or explain the uneasy feeling in my bones.
