Becoming the Wildly Wealthy Woman

If you are like most people I know, you want to make more money. That is because money is deeply intertwined with our ability to survive. Not to mention we need it to do basically anything that sparks joy in our souls.

The problem I see amongst most business owners is, they think that once they have more money, they can finally x-y-z (breathe, rest, not have to work so hard, feel proud, accomplished, wealthy, etc).

We  go on to spend our whole lives chasing it, fighting about it, stressing over it, we fear losing it and we bend ourselves over backwards to get more of it.

But what if I told you it wasn’t about the money itself? What if I told you it is really about the power you give to it? That it was more about your relationship to it? And once you forget everything you have ever been taught about it, that is when real wealth can finally pour in?

The Ripped Bill Revelation

I recently delivered a keynote speech at a business conference in Costa Rica, where I held up a $100 bill and asked the same question, “What if I told you money only holds the power you give it?” As soon as I asked the question, I ripped the $100 bill in front of everyone.

The audience gasped. Eyes bugged out of heads. I even heard a woman with defeat in her heart question, “Whyyy would you do that?!” I asked them to witness what happened in their bodies as I ripped the bill. Some noticed there was a tightness in their chest, a pit in their stomach, and many shared that they were angry with me.

What was your reaction? How would you feel if you saw someone rip a $100 bill in front of you?

I went on to explain to that their reaction was proving my entire point. Because what I shared next shifted the room — I told them it was fake. Play money bought off Amazon for the bargain price of only $13.99 for a 100 piece set.

What happened to you as the reader? Your entire perception and reaction changes, doesn’t it? Because it is not about the money itself, it is always been about your relationship to it. I unfortunately had to learn this the hard way. And in order for you to understand how I got to where I am today, we need to travel a few years back. 

I started my business at the end of 2018, with nothing but delusion and vibes. I had been a network marketer from 2016 – 2018 and had just gone all-in on a brand new company I felt deeply aligned with. I joined in January, was absolutely crushing it, and felt confident enough to quit my job in June of 2016, even though I had never seen a cent from the company (I know, I know). By September, the company closed and I was not paid once.

This is where most people would take it as a sign to quit. I took it as a sign to pivot. I knew I deeply desired the freedom, flexibility, and uncapped finances that entrepreneurship could provide; and I decided to start my own coaching business instead.

In 2019, my first full year in business, I matched my full-time income. In 2020, I scaled to six-figures and had become financially free. By April of 2021, I hit the coveted multi five-figure month. On paper, I had MADE IT. But energetically, I was about to learn one of the most important lessons of my life: success doesn’t just elevate you, it exposes everything that is not aligned for you.
