In the heart of a bustling city, where the hum of life never seemed to fade, I found myself caught in a whirlwind of expectations and obligations during my time in the corporate world. I was a chronic people-pleaser, always seeking validation from others, my self-worth tethered to their approval. My days were filled with anxiety, my mind racing to meet the needs of family, friends, and colleagues—often at the expense of my own happiness.

I was living for everyone but myself, and the toll was becoming unbearable.

The turning point came on an ordinary Tuesday. I had just returned home from yet another exhausting day of work, where I had bent over backward to accommodate a colleague’s last-minute demands.

As I sat on my bed, the weight of my choices crashed down on me like a tidal wave. I felt drained, both emotionally and physically. The realization struck me: I was living a life that wasn’t truly mine. I longed for freedom, for joy, and most importantly, for a sense of self that had long been buried beneath layers of obligation.
