There are many expressions and experiences on the paths of spirituality. The beauty is that no matter the chosen paths, they’re all leading to the same thing: self-realization. Initially, many of us encounter awe in seeing, experiencing, and understanding life in new ways.

Many seekers and practitioners are inspired by techniques and philosophies that nourish awareness of oneness with all that is. However, if we remain diligent in applying what we learn, we often find ourselves in the discomfort of change—also known as healing.

Just as the most incredible aspects of spiritual work can be unique to each of us, the challenges are also varied. One that is most common is the confrontation of choice, recognizing the options to be and do things differently than we’ve done in the past. This often amplifies the experience of self-doubt and fear of the unknown.

The Journey of Self-Trust

As we navigate the processes of healing and transformation, doubts and insecurities can often cloud our sense of inner knowing. This lack of self-trust can manifest in various ways, such as constant second-guessing, seeking external validation, or being overly critical of ourselves.

Recognizing and addressing these patterns is crucial for spiritual growth, as trust in oneself is a fundamental pillar of the transformative journey. Cultivating self-trust involves developing a deep sense of self-awareness, learning to listen to one’s intuition, and honoring one’s inner guidance with compassion and openness.

It’s easier said than done, but it can be done.

Fortunately, we are supported in many ways, including expressions of earth and cosmic intelligence. We can learn a lot about transformation, growth, and surrender by observing the life and death cycles of earth, which we call seasons.
