Growth: The Season You Are Becoming
We never stay the same. Even when life appears quiet on the surface, something within us is always shifting, shedding, recalibrating. Growth is not a dramatic before and after moment; it is a series of subtle pauses and expansions that shape who we are becoming.
The New Moon is a reset point. It reminds us that nothing is fixed. A difficult season will ease, just as joyful moments eventually change form. When we understand this rhythm, we stop gripping so tightly and begin to move with life instead of against it.
Growth Moves In Seasons
Nature has always understood that growth happens in seasons. There is a time for blooming and a time for rest, a time for productivity and a time for releasing what no longer serves us. Perimenopause mirrors this natural cycle beautifully, aligning closely with the energy of autumn.
Autumn is not about decline; it is about refinement. Leaves fall not because the tree is failing, but because it is conserving energy, preparing for renewal. Perimenopause asks the same of us. It invites us to slow down and to release the identities and expectations that have carried us this far.
We are conditioned to believe that change means loss, that ageing means we are losing our power. In reality, this season is all about YOUR power. An initiation into deeper wisdom and truth.
When the Comfort Zone No Longer Fits
Growth will never happen if we remain locked inside our comfort zone. Yet, perimenopause can feel like the worst possible time to step into the unknown. Energy fluctuates, emotions feel turbulent and we may feel disconnected.
So, it is worth asking a brave question:
What actually is your current normal?
If each day already feels like a challenge, perhaps this is not a sign to retreat but an invitation to change how you are currently living. Perimenopause has a way of highlighting where we have overgiven ourselves and created energetic leaks. This stage is not a breakdown, it is a recalibration.
Rather than fighting the discomfort, what if you rode the wave of change?
What if this was the moment to loosen your grip on what has kept you fixed to a familiar pattern or cycle?
