You see, when you discover who you truly are and learn how to nurture yourself according to your unique needs, then those around you can’t help but be captivated by your authenticity and thriving energy.

We may all come from the same place in the stars, but our paths are unique to us. 

This means there is no need to look outside of yourself for answers or to copy someone else’s journey.  You can trust that following your own bliss is the way forward for you.

Deep within our physical body is our truth.

I know that my purpose is to help you return to this place. 

I’ve always been interested in health and wellbeing but instead of following this path professionally, I initially worked in media relations, radio marketing, event management and ended my corporate career as Head of Alumni Relations for one of Scotland’s ancient Universities.

I gave up my career to bring up my daughters and during that time I discovered reiki and working with energy.  I knew I’d discovered something magical and from then on I followed the breadcrumbs which led to yoga, training to become a teacher, working with children and adults and then into soul-led life coaching.

I absolutely love what I do.

My journey of self-discovery has been so enriching and I want everyone to experience the wonder of returning home to the real you.

My coaching work infuses all my life experience, practices and tools I’ve learned through yoga and working with energy.

My most recent personal discovery has been a deep dive into my Human Design profile.  Finding out I was a 4/6 Mental Projector has been one of the best experiences on this path.  I always knew I was different and being part of approximately just 2% of the world’s population validates that!

I’m here to support you and use my big picture insight to guide you home to your true self.

The Power of Your breath

We’ve been doing it since the moment we were born but have been taking it for granted ever since.

 Our breath is our life force energy.

 It represents spirit within us.

See it as your navigation tool.  It indicates, at any given moment, how you are feeling.

Seldom do we pay much attention to the cycle of our breath, its rhythm, its sound, how it feels in our body, but we ought to.

Our breath is powerful.

Have you noticed how smooth and comfortable your breath feels when you’re relaxing?

Slow, deep breathing activates our parasympathetic nervous system, sending a signal to our brain that everything is calm and we are safe. Plenty of oxygen is soaring through our system and into our brain meaning we can think clearly and make decisions more easily.

On the other hand, shallow and short breaths indicate the opposite and can send us into panic or anxiety, clouding our judgement.

Humans have been using their breath to support their health and wellbeing since ancient times.

Practices have been passed down generations, particularly in the yoga tradition, and interest in breathwork has increased again in recent times due to the popularity of figures like Wim Hof. 

From energising exercises to those that help us feel peaceful, there is always a breathwork practice that can support us. 

It’s important to learn from someone who is trained in this field as some exercises will not be suitable for everyone.  Laura is a fully trained Hatha Yoga teacher and has studied and practiced pranayama (breathing exercises) for many years and has also done further study into the breath.

Laura created the Master Your Breath workshop to help beginners and those curious to learn more.  She shares her own experiences, information from recent studies and guides you through simple exercises to help you get started.

One of her favourite quotes comes from the book, Breath by James Nestor:

“No matter what you eat, how much you exercise, how skinny or young or wise you are, none of it matters if you’re not breathing properly.”

Ways to work with ME

Laura offers a small number of free 30 minute consultation calls each month.  This session allows you to share what your greatest challenge is and to receive some insight or guidance from Laura, establishing whether or not you want further help and if working together feels like a good fit for you both.  There is no obligation to book into further sessions.


On completion of a health and wellness questionnaire and discovery chat, you can join Laura for a personalised practice to suit your unique needs. Laura teaches Hatha Yoga which is taught at a slow to steady pace, which may include yoga postures, pranayama (breathing practices), meditation and/or guided relaxations. Only a small number of spots available.

Mini Coaching

If you have a specific challenge you would like help with, Laura offers a one-hour call over Zoom where she will offer support and give you a takeaway practice too (eg breathwork, EFT exercise …) followed by a further 30 minute session two weeks later.

Private Coaching

I have a Diploma in Teaching Yoga from the Ofqual regulated British Wheel of Yoga, which is the highest level of yoga teacher training available in the UK.  I am also a certified Intuitive Soul Coach and Reiki practitioner.  I am passionate about holistic health and wellness and with my array of intuitive tools I support each client in a truly unique way.

My Life as a Projector

I was introduced to Human Design in 2020.  I love learning about new subjects and since I was already on a deep journey of self-discovery, I couldn’t wait to dive in!

Projectors are recognised for our ability to see the big picture, our innate wisdom and ability to guide others upon an invitation to do so.  We represent 20% of the world’s population.  There are several types of Projector and I’ve discovered that I’m a Mental Projector – part of just around 2% of the world’s population!

It’s important for me to get out of my head as much as I can and into my body.  It’s no accident I became a yoga teacher then!

Discovering I’m a Projector has been such a gift.  I used to wonder why I would run into burn out so easily and why I could ‘see’ and ‘feel’ things that others couldn’t.  Projectors are not here to work 9-5, we need plenty of rest.  We absorb so much energy from the world around us that it’s totally exhausting and so it’s important we replenish ourselves with lots of chill out time – yay to that!

On the downside, we can feel bitter and resentful when we expend our energy, offer our guidance and advice when the opposite party is not open to it.  Other people need to be drawn in by our aura first and Projectors must be ‘invited’ to share in order to experience our signature theme of success.

When the world is full of Generators it’s no wonder I’ve been conditioned to ‘fit in.’  When I connected to my soul I knew I wasn’t meant for a life that those around me were seeking.  I knew I was meant for something far more unique and so it’s my pleasure to continue my personal practice of de-conditioning and understanding the work-life balance that best suits me.

I’ve coached many Generators and Manifesting Generators who have felt stuck in their life.  The pattern I’ve witnessed is that so many people are disconnected to their inner voice.  They’ve been on the work treadmill and have forgotten to take special care of themselves.  It always comes back to self-love.
